Matchy Matchy..

Being asked to participate in someone's big day as their bridesmaid is an honor, you are practically one of the family at this point. But some where between the bride saying "Will you?" and your reply, one thing will occupy your thoughts with worry...

What colour are the dresses?

Now we all know that once a bride has a colour scheme in her head, the chances are it's not going to change. I mean, imagine asking her to recreate that secret board on Pintrest that she has had poised and ready to go for years awaiting her "all-the-time-in-the-world" partner placing that ring upon her finger. Boy he took his time!

But daffodil yellow doesn't suit you, huh?

She's got her heart set on it and therefore you have two options. 1. quit, you may not live to tell the tale and your invite to the day may get lost in the post but hey, you weren't that good of friends anyway, or 2. compromise. This shade of yellow she's been dreaming about since she was a little girl may not suit everyone,  but "Shade" is your key word here. Go it alone and find a shade that will suit you, then when you are trying on dresses with her, suggest the possibility of multi-toning. Not everything has to match perfectly, in fact, it's the new "in-thing" to multi-tone bridesmaid dresses and one huge block of colour takes the attention away from the bride in those all important pics. (See what we did there ;) )

And there we have it, now all you have to do is accept!
